Operation Chivalrous Knight 3

On November 5, 2023, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, directed the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defense to launch the humanitarian operation “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

His Highness also instructed the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defense to ensure full coordination and cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, along with other humanitarian and charitable organizations in the United Arab Emirates, to deliver humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Since the escalation in Gaza following the events of October 7, 2023, the United Arab Emirates has continued its efforts around the clock to halt the war, protect civilians, and work toward a comprehensive and lasting peace. These efforts have been accompanied by ongoing humanitarian and relief support for the people of the Gaza Strip, including medical care for the wounded and the sick through a field hospital that was established, as well as the treatment of hundreds of patients and injured individuals in UAE hospitals. Humanitarian aid convoys continue to reach Gaza as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight.
