Chivalrous Knight 3
Today, Operation Chivalrous Knight (3) organized a grand public ceremony to celebrate the weddings of 54 grooms in the Gaza Strip, in honor of the 54th UAE National Day, with a large audience filling the celebration venue. The event reflected the operation’s message of hope and humanitarian support for families and youth amid difficult circumstances.
According to attendance estimates, around 20,000 people from various areas of Gaza participated, their faces glowing with smiles and joy as the grooms were celebrated—a scene that captured the long-awaited collective happiness.
In a special speech during the event, Ali Al Shehi, Head of the UAE Mission in Gaza, stated that celebrating the weddings of 54 grooms on this day reflects the deep bond between the Emirati and Palestinian peoples. He emphasized that the “robe of joy” symbolizes Gaza’s resilience, proving that happiness can triumph over devastation.
He further explained that the mass wedding is an extension of the UAE’s approach to standing with Gaza, pledging that the UAE will remain a constant partner in creating joy until Gaza is thriving and safe as it deserves to be.
Khidr Al Majdalawi, Head of the Support Committee for Operation Chivalrous Knight (3), said in his speech: “This mass wedding carries a message of life and hope for wounded Gaza, which has been exhausted by war, losing its children, destroying homes, and uprooting trees. Today, however, Gaza adorns itself in a robe of joy, laying the foundation for a dignified and secure future for its youth.”
The celebration included diverse artistic and cultural performances, notably traditional Dabke dances and folk songs reflecting Palestinian identity. The grooms paraded in a festive procession, accompanied by families and attendees dancing and celebrating with them, creating an atmosphere full of delight.
At the end of the event, the grooms took commemorative photos with their families and guests, capturing moments of pure happiness. These images remain etched in the memory of the Palestinian people, highlighting the UAE’s clear role in bringing joy during harsh times, offering hope that restored light to faces and strength to hearts.
