The 272nd UAE humanitarian aid convoy entered Gaza Strip as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, carrying 387 tons of food parcels. It marks the first shipment of the Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship to reach the Strip.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship, which arrived at Al-Arish Port last week, carried food aid directed to meet urgent needs in Gaza. The shipment includes 10 million meals provided by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, as part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to enhance food security and support the most affected groups.
Mohammed Al Kaabi, Media Coordinator of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 in Al-Arish, said: ‘The UAE humanitarian aid team in Al-Arish has been working tirelessly, day and night, to ensure that assistance reaches those in need in the Gaza Strip as quickly as possible. The team exerted tremendous efforts in unloading, preparing, and organizing the cargo of the Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship since its arrival in Al-Arish. Today, the first batch of its shipment is entering Gaza, one week after the ship’s arrival.
The entry of the convoy comes as part of an integrated logistical system overseen by the UAE humanitarian aid team in Al-Arish. The process begins with unloading the ship’s cargo according to organized operational procedures, followed by transporting the shipments to the UAE humanitarian logistics center in Al-Arish to complete technical handling stages. The team works tirelessly, day and night, around the clock to ensure swift execution, procedural accuracy, and the safety of the supplies.
At the logistics center, parcels are inspected, sorted, and verified for safety, with any damaged packages repacked under strict standards that ensure the quality and validity of the contents. The aid is then stored in warehouses according to classification and type, guaranteeing ease of preparation and rapid response to field needs.
Once the stages of inspection, sorting, and storage are completed, the food supplies are prepared within the humanitarian supply chain to be transported in succession to Gaza Strip through the UAE humanitarian aid convoys, as part of ongoing efforts to provide relief support and meet the essential needs of the Palestinian people.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 continues its humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people through an integrated relief system that includes land convoys, an air bridge, and sea shipments, alongside the implementation of relief, health, and food initiatives. This reflects the UAE’s steadfast commitment to standing by its brothers and alleviating their suffering.
