Chivalrous Knight(3):
Operation Chivalrous Knight (3) has announced its sponsorship of the Gaza Ramadan Football Championship in cooperation with the Palestinian Association of Veteran Athletes. The initiative aims to support Palestinian sports and encourage football activities during the holy month of Ramadan, with the participation of veteran players in a competitive and festive atmosphere.
As part of its sponsorship, the Operation provided full logistical support for clubs, players, referees, and the organizing committee. It also allocated financial prizes for the top teams: 10,000 shekels for first place, 8,000 for second, 6,000 for third, and 4,000 for fourth, in addition to special awards for the top scorer, best player, best goalkeeper, and best referee.
The championship draw was conducted to determine fixtures and schedules, with 20 teams from across Gaza’s governorates taking part. This ensures wide representation of Palestinian clubs and offers an opportunity for interaction and fair competition among teams.
The draw resulted in the following groupings:
– Group 1: Shabab Rafah, Ittihad Deir Al-Balah, Sports Journalists, Khadamat Al-Nuseirat.
– Group 2: Khadamat Al-Maghazi, Veterans of Jabalia, Al-Ahli, Al-Tarabut Club.
– Group 3: Al-Zaytoun, Khadamat Deir Al-Balah, Al-Daraj Club, Khadamat Rafah.
– Group 4: Gaza Sports Club, Ittihad Khan Younis, Shabab Al-Zawaida, Veterans of Beit Hanoun.
– Group 5: Ittihad Al-Shuja’iya, Veterans of Shabab Khan Younis, Coaches Forum, Al-Masdar Club.
Operation Chivalrous Knight (3) emphasized its commitment to supporting sports and youth activities in Gaza, with the goal of spreading joy and encouraging cooperation and team spirit among participants.
